Ledyard Arrests April 13 – April 19
The following arrest information was supplied by the Connecticut State Police Troop E and the Ledyard police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

April 13
At 6:57 p.m., police arrested John A. Bender, 28, of 253 Haley Road, Ledyard, and charged him with first-degree larceny, fourth-degree larceny and issuing a bad check. He was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond and given an April 27 court date. The accused turned himself in on an active arrest warrant, according to the report.
April 16
At 9:42 p.m., police arrested Mark C. Kelliher, 45, of 13 Sand Dollar Lane, Mashpee, MA, after a disturbance at Foxwoods Resort. No charges were listed in the report, which does say that Kelliher refused to sign his written notice of rights, failed to submit to fingerprints, failed to comply with numerous directives and failed to sign his property form. He was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and given a May 1 court date.
The next day, Kelliher was driving westbound on Route 184 in North Stonington when he crossed the double yellow line and struck a stone wall, according to the report. He was transported to Westerly Hospital with minor injuries and was given a ticket for improper turn.
