Letter To The Editor: Avoid Lines, Pay Taxes Through The Mail, Online

You will shortly be receiving your property tax bills.  Please be aware of your options for paying these bills:

1)       An envelope has been provided with your bill that allows payment to be mailed.

2)       On-line/Bill Pay payments are permitted through your bank. See the Ledyard web site for postmark requirements.

3)       Credit card and e-payments are permitted as described on the town’s web site.

4)       Payments may be made at the Dime Savings across the street from the Town Hall.

5)       Of course payments can be made at the Tax Collector’s office Monday thru Friday from 8:30 AM to 4 PM.
