Novic said "a smattering of everyone in town will be there."
Novic said this is the 25th year the Lions have produced the parade for the town since it moved to Ledyard Center from the Vality parking lot in Gales Ferry. The parade will march in sun and rain.
"We're going to go one or the other, drenched or otherwise," he said.
A tent will be set up at the high school, where food will be provided for the marchers.
