This is the first Christmas party organized by Rapp and Program Director April Sauchuk who joked, “it really feels like Christmas; we were up all night decorating and we were up early and we’re still going.”
The two started working at the Senior Center less than a year ago and their efforts were a big success and greatly appreciated by attendees of the party.

“I had a very good time,” said Marnie Reubelt. “My tummy’s full, I’m fine.”
Friends Lucille Paulk and Carla Sinnett both nodded that the food was delicious and that the party was fun.
“It was beautiful meal and we’re just happy to be here,” said Paulk.
Music was provided by Dayne Rugh, of Groton. He dressed in his “most prized possession” which was a red wool coat and black top hat and played classic holiday songs on the piano.
Sinnett had expressed a wish for more singing early in the lunch and by the end, she got her wish. The lunch finished with a sing-a-long to We Wish You a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
