"Only a few regions of the world have seasonal displays of color like Connecticut's. The eastern United States and southeastern Canada have large areas of deciduous forests, ample rainfall, and favorable weather conditions for vivid fall colors. However, eastern Asia, southwestern Europe, and some areas of the western United States (notably the mountains) have bright fall color."
Any and most of Ledyard's roads will bring you on a tour through the colors of fall; there are also parks and trails that will put you front and center at the show. So, whether you drive, walk or find yourself overlooking a vinyard or orchard with a glass of wine, now's the time to stop and notice the leaves changing.
