PHOTOS: Gallup Hill Serves Cupcakes on Plates

In memory of Dr. Seuss's birthday, Gallup Hill volunteers served students cupcakes to the theme of The Cat And The Hat.

 

Volunteers baked more than 450 cupcakes to help Gallup Hill School students celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday Friday. The children's author's birthday is March 2 and the school celebrated his birthday Friday on Read Across America Day. Special guests were invited to to read to students during class and then of course, students were served cupcakes on red and white plates, which was themed after one Seuss's most popular books, The Cat And the Hat.
