Popular Foxwoods Restaurant, Nightclub Close Permanently
A couple of notable businesses recently closed at Foxwoods Resort Casino.
MASHANTUCKET, CT — Two establishments have closed permanently at Foxwoods Resort Casino, as reported by The Connecticut Scoop.
Japanese restaurant Red Lantern had its last day of business last week. The restaurant was located in the Fox Tower.
The Red Lantern Facebook page lists it as "permanently closed."

Red Lantern was a 21-and-over-only restaurant that specialized in sushi and cocktails.
Shrine, a nightclub in the Fox Tower, has also closed its doors. Its final event took place last week.

Shrine posted on Instagram recently, saying, "Thanks for the memories." It's listed as permanently closed on Google.
Both Red Lantern and Shrine were operated by Big Night Entertainment Group. The company also runs other Foxwoods establishments like High Rollers, Scorpion, and Guy Fieri's Kitchen & Bar.
No reasons were given for the closures, according to The Connecticut Scoop.
