VIDEO: Broadway Musical Coming to Ledyard
Ledyard elementary students are putting on a production of Annie Jr. this week!
Ledyard residents are in for a real treat at the end of this week when a Broadway musical, Annie Jr., steps off Broadway and takes center stage in the Ledyard Center School!
Ledyard’s Spotlight Kids Theater Club is putting on a one-hour performance of the classic musical and the audience can look forward to well-known hits like “Tomorrow” and “It’s a Hard-Knocked Life”.

The production will be performed by fourth, fifth and sixth graders in the theater club who have been rehearsing since September. Guided by Ledyard teachers Mr. Lambert, Ms. Pollin and Mrs. Priest, forty Ledyard kids have been taking direction and coaching in acting, singing and dancing for this show.
Curtains will rise at 7 p.m. on Friday and again at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday. Ticket prices are $5 for students and teachers, $8 for general admission and children under get in for free. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by contacting jpriest@ledyard.net. Any checks should be made payable to GHS PTO.
