Winston Made it Home!

Ledyard Patch user J.J. Redden uploaded picture of Winston, his lost dog, with the hope that other Ledyard Patch readers and users would keep their eyes open and help him find the friendly, 1-year-old English Mastiff. 

Winston's photo was shared hundreds of times on Facebook alone and the efforts of everyone who share the info really paid off in this case.

Redden posted to Facebook, "Long story short - somebody stole him, took off his collar, and gave him away. A good samaritan alerted the landlord that the tenant had a mastiff in their apartment that looked like the one that was missing. And it was about 20-30 minutes away in New London!"

Fortunately, Winston is back home and this story a happy ending.
