11 Madison Boards, Commissions & Committees Seek Volunteers

MADISON, CT — Madison continues to seek volunteers to serve on several government commissions, boards and committees, according to First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons.

Eleven government groups have positions available, which is down from 14 during the fall.

Included among the groups looking for volunteers are:

• Salt Meadow Park Advisory Committee
• Senior Services Commission
• Affordable Housing Committee, Ad Hoc
• Solid Waste Disposal Commission

Madison has more than 40 active boards and commissions that serve a wide range of interests, Lyons said in a recent Community Update.
