Safe Driving Warning Issued In Madison: Police
"If you plan on drinking, find a sober driver or use a ride-sharing service such as Uber or Lyft."
MADISON, CT — On Saturday, a Madison police officer observed a motorist driving erratically and pulled over the driver, prompting the department to issue a warning to drive safely during the holidays.
The driver, who was not named, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, and failure to maintain lane, and the department posted a video of the incident on Facebook (see below).
No other motorists were traveling in the other direction while the arrested driver crossed into the other lane, so a potential crash was avoided.
