9/11 Remembrance Ceremony Scheduled In Madison
The event will be held near the Madison Town Green, according to officials.

MADISON, CT — Madison will host its annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at 5 p.m. on Thursday near the Madison Town Green, according to officials.
The Board of Selectmen proclaimed Aug. 30 through Sept. 13 as a time of remembrance, volunteerism, and community pride, according to First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons, and the Madison Exchange Club has installed its 300-flag display "honoring veterans, current military personnel, first responders, canines and those who died on 9/11."
Thursday's ceremony is free and open to the public.
