First and foremost in the hearts and mind of Madison-area foodies and localvores is the Madison Farmer's Market, held every Friday afternoon from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the Madison town green. If you can't find it there, maybe you don't need it. Whether you want something healthy for your kids to eat, or something fabulous to wow your friends at a weekend party, the Madison Farmer's Market on Friday is the place to go.
Still, for those who need to do their shopping on other days or in other locations, due to work or other obligations, there are other options. Many in North Madison are within easy reach of the Durham Farmer's Market on Thursday's from 3 to 6 p.m. and have the option of stopping the Durham Dari Freeze on the way there or back. Another great option is the North Guilford-Dudley Farm Market on Saturday's from 9 to 12:30 p.m.
