Madison Baseball Field In Need Of Spring Cleanup

The debate over the field continues in Madison.

MADISON, CT - Madison Travel Baseball players just want to play a little ball this spring.

However, the debate surrounding the safety and playing conditions of the town's campus baseball field continues. Madison officials say the field is safe for play while the players and coach are asking for improvements, according to The Madison Source.

Madison Travel Baseball Team President President Ken Caron says the field isn't up to safety standards and his players can't play ball with the current conditions. The town's Board of Selectmen said improvements are needed but it's fine for season play as is.
