Buy That Cute Little Red House On Grass Island!
... or, at least, the picture! Taken by one of our favorite photographers, Donna Johnson Buckley, the print is already a favorite with some around town.
One of Connecticut's most beloved, and most photographed, vistas is the red fishing hut on Grass Island, which you can see by walking just a few minutes past the Madison town line if you're down by Circle Beach in Madison.
A picture taken by Donna Johnson Buckley, a shoreline photographer, is quickly becoming a favorite with some around town.
"Just about to drop off 2....yes 2 of these prints of Grass Island, Guilford to a wonderful woman," Donna wrote recently on her Facebook page. "She saw this print in the waiting room of my favorite Doctor, and it sparked memories of her childhood. She ordered 2, one for herself and one for her friend who was with her when she helped painted it as a child. Wouldn't this make a great gift: Wedding, Birthday, Housewarming gift for someone you know? Struggling Artist Alert!!"
