Change Announced For Madison's Beaches
"As summer comes to an end, our amazing lifeguards are off to college..."
MADISON, CT — Lifeguards are no longer stationed at Madison's beaches, according to officials.
"As summer comes to an end, our amazing lifeguards are off to college and there will no longer be lifeguards at the Town beaches for the remainder of the season," First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons recently wrote in a Community Update.
With Labor Day completed, only Madison's West Wharf will continue to require parking passes from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week through the end of the month.
