Community Dining Room Celebrates Thanksgiving; Here's How You Can Help!

The CDR Annual Thanksgiving Feast will be celebrated Thursday, Nov. 22 from noon to 1:30 p.m. If you would like a place to celebrate Thanksgiving, they will welcome you and treat you like a valued customer.

If you want to help them, you are welcome to contribute a favorite dish of gallon or cider or milk. Here are the details from the CDR website:

The Community Dining Room will serve a traditional Thanksgiving feast on Thursday, November 22, Noon thru 1:30. All members of the community are invited. Guests will enjoy a generous feast including turkey, ham, cranberry creations, mashed potatoes, peas with baby onions, pie and many other seasonal dishes. The Community Dining Room is committed to serving the community by feeding the hungry and helping with other basic human needs. We strive to promote public awareness of the impact of hunger and isolation in our society. We are dedicated to helping our guests with their practical needs through referrals and fellowship.

The Community Dining Room serves the south-central Connecticut shoreline from East Haven to Old Saybrook including the towns of East Haven, Branford, North Branford, Guilford, Madison, Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook.

Sunday-Friday: 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
2nd & 4th Saturday, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

TUESDAY FAMILY DINNER
AND STORYTIME
(for families with children)
Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT
TAKE-OUT DINNER
