Madison To Hold Public Information Sessions On Downtown Infrastructure Projects
The projects include streetscape improvements, decorative lighting, and more.
MADISON, CT — Madison has scheduled two back-to-back public information sessions in January on the planned Downtown Center Project, and sidewalk/crosswalk improvement effort.
The sessions will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., both on Jan. 12 in Room A at the Town Campus and virtually via Zoom.
According to First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons, the first session will address the status of the Downtown Center Project.

"Project Engineers will present the streetscape improvements, decorative lighting, landscaping, median extension, project timeline and other construction-related details as are currently available," Lyons said in a recent community update.
The second session "will provide an overview of the various sidewalk and crosswalk improvements to Boston Post Road, Britton Lane and West Wharf Road. Project Engineers will present the sidewalk design, crosswalk improvements, project timeline and other construction-related details as are currently available."
