Construction Underway On Madison Emergency Operations Center/Firehouse Expansion
The project received a $2.5 million federal grant.
MADISON, CT — Construction began last week on Madison's Emergency Operations Center and Firehouse Expansion Project, according to officials.
The project, partially funded by a $2.5 million federal grant, "is an investment in the safety of our community — allowing for more efficient emergency services that fit the needs of Madison," officials wrote in a post on Facebook.
Total cost of the project could reach about $3.5 million.
