Conversations With Women:  It All Starts With Food

Chef David Currant from Cuisine Currant Catering, will be serving appetizers at J. HORTON from the newly famous cookbooks, Plenty and Jerusalem. These cookbooks were written by Israeli and Palestinian chefs, Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi. Plenty was a New York Times bestseller in 2011, and Jerusalem was a New York Times bestseller in 2012.

Me Dusa handbags and jewelry will be represented at J. HORTON, which have all been made in Tel Aviv.  
A henna artist will also be at the store creating traditional Moroccan patterns! 

JOIN US FIRST, THEN HEAD OVER TO THE LIBRARY TO CONTINUE THE CONVERSATION

Palestinian Musicians Tamer Al Sahouri and John Sababa, as well as vocalist Cristina Awad will perform at the Scranton Library in Madison. The featuredspeaker will be Jane Hilal, head of the Water & Environment Department of the Applied Research Institute in Jerusalem. This event is free.
