Courtney, McPherson Tour VISTA's Madison Campus
State Rep. Joe Courtney and Madison First Selectman Fillmore McPherson visited Vista Vocational & Life Skills Center in Madison.

Vista Vocational & Life Skills Center recently welcomed United States Representative Joe Courtney to their Madison Campus on Bradley Road. Helping to welcome Representative Courtney was Madison First Selectman Fillmore McPherson.
During his time in Madison, Representative Courtney had the opportunity to learn about the programs and services that Vista provides to adults with disabilities and their families with a specific focus on those services based on Vista’s Madison Campus.
Vista’s Madison based services include the newly-organized Vista Arts Center, providing individualized arts instruction - even helping to make a collaborative arts piece during his visit- and Vista’s Day Programming that features activities for adults with disabilities with a focus on active, productive programming and community engagement.
While touring Vista’s Madison Campus, Representative Courtney also learned about the fulfillment/assembly work performed by Vista student/members for Yale New Haven Hospital.
Based in Madison and Westbrook, Vista Vocational & Life Skills Center is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization providing services to adults with disabilities and their families.
