Date Set For 47th Annual Lenny & Joe’s Madison Turkey Trot

MADISON, CT — The 47th annual Lenny & Joe’s Madison Turkey Trot will be held at 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, according to the Madison Jaycees.

The popular event features a 5-mile race and 2-mile walk in the heart of Madison, starting and ending on the historic Madison Town Green.

"Both the run and walk courses feature scenic views of Long Island Sound and some of Madison’s most picturesque shoreline neighborhoods!" wrote First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons in a statement.

From the Jaycees announcement: "Long sleeve t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 2,500 pre-registered runners and walkers. Participants will also enjoy a great post race party and refreshments."
