Date Set For Madison's 2025 Annual Independence Day Fireworks
The best vantage points for viewing the fireworks are from the three Madison beaches.
MADISON, CT — Madison has a full slate of events scheduled to celebrate Independence Day, according to officials.
The Annual Independence Day Fireworks will be rocketed from a barge just south of the West Wharf pier at 9:30 p.m. on July 2, with the best vantage points for viewing at the Town Beaches: Surf Club, East Wharf, and West Wharf.
At 10 a.m. on July 4, the town's Independence Day Parade will step off, heading west on Boston Post Road (Route 1) from Samson Rock Drive to the West Wharf Road and will end at the Surf Club.
Additionally, there will also be a concert on the green beginning at 6 p.m. on July 5, sponsored by Madison Cultural Arts. The opener is Lancraft Fife & Drum Crops, followed by Wallingford Symphony Orchestra, Conducted by Philip Ventre, at 7:00 p.m.
"Please note that for the July 4th Weekend, the sale of Beach Parking Stickers/Passes will end at 12:00pm on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025," First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons said in a statement. "Please make sure to have your parking pass prior to 4:00 p.m. on July 3, 2025 if you want to visit the Town beaches during the holiday weekend. Residents will be able to purchase online and show your receipt at the checkpoint. Pass/sticker sales will resume on Monday, July 7, 2025."
