Donations Still Needed For Madison Social Service Backpack Program
The backpack program is helping students in need in Madison.

Madison, CT - The Madison Social Services department is hoping to provide all children in the district with the school supplies needed for the upcoming school year.
According to a report in The Madison Source, the Madison Social Service Backpack Program is still in need of donations to provide kids in need with new backpacks and supplies.
The 20-year-old program helps about 45 students in the district each year, according to the report.

Madison Social Services Coordinator Wendy Larson, who runs the backpack program, told The Sourcethat this year's backpacks also include Payless Shoe store gift cards.
