Ed Pellegrino Of ColdwellBanker Wins Distinguished Service Award

Pellegrino's Pitching For Charity event has raised over $45,000, all of which has gone to help feed our neighbors in need.

Ed Pellegrino, of ColdwellBanker in Madison, won the 58th Annual Distinguished Service Award. 

The award is presented annually by the Jaycees to "a citizen of the community for leadership and outstanding service to the community during the preceding year." 

Pellegrino's accomplishments include the creation of the Pitching For Charity event, which has raised more than $45,000 for Madison Food Pantry and Neighbor 2 Neighbor.

The award was announced this year April 25 during a banquet at Cafe Allegre. Local businessman and author Chris Zane was the guest speaker.

Past recipients of the Distinguished Service Award include Tom Banisch, Pam McKinnon, Nola Battipaglia, Steven Perrelli, Warner Lord, Dick Borner, Louis Tresselt, Bill Clorite, Laurie Heflin, Barry Miller and Eileen Johnson. Both Warner Lord and Eileen Johnson were recipients of a Lifetime Achievement Award.
