Fireworks And Concerts Happening In Madison
Madison town officials remind people the fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 9.

MADISON, CT – Several events are happening in Madison over the weekend, including the Independence Day Fireworks and the start of the summer concert series.
After postponing the fireworks on July 2, Madison town officials said the annual Independence Day Fireworks will be displayed from a barge just south of the West Wharf pier on Friday, July 7, at 9:30 p.m.
Town officials said resident, seasonal beach parking passes, resident day tags and nonresident day tags will be sold Wednesday, July 5 and Thursday, July 6, at the Surf Club from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Town officials, no passes will be sold on Friday, July 7.
The best fireworks viewing is from town beaches: East Wharf, West Wharf and the Surf Club. Town officials said you will need a beach parking pass to park at all town beaches and Lowery Field until the fireworks start.

During the day on Friday, town officials said several roads will be closed starting at 6:30 p.m.
The weekend continues with events as Sunday, July 9, the Madison Town Green 2023 Summer Concert Series beings.
Performing on July 9 is The Taxmen, and the following Sunday, July 16, Backstage Pass hits the stage.
Concerts are held each Sunday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. All concerts are free of charge.
