Fireworks Postponed, Parade Still On In Madison

City Officials said the Independence Day Parade has stayed the same from the originally scheduled date and time.

MADISON, CT – There have been some changes to the July Fourth Celebration in Madison.

Madison’s Fireworks, originally scheduled for July 2, have been postponed to Friday, July 7, at 9:30 p.m.

The best viewing locations, parking locations and Road Closures remain the same for Friday’s Independence Day Fireworks.

However, the Scheduled Independence Day Parade in Madison will still occur on July 4, according to city officials.

The Independence Day Parade will start at 10 a.m. and proceed west on Boston Post Road (Route 1) from Samson Rock Drive to West Warf Road and end in the Surf Club.
