Fairfield, CT — January 19, 2025 — The Fred Astaire Dance Studios of the Connecticut Region gathered at The Patterson Club in Fairfield, CT, this past Sunday, January 19, 2025, for their much-anticipated Annual Training & Awards 2024 Conference. The event was a celebration of the incredible achievements of both the studios and instructors across the region, and it was a moment of great pride for the team at the Fred Astaire Dance Studios Madison location.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was the recognition of Denys Fesenko, a rising star at Fred Astaire Dance Studios Madison. Denys, a professional dancer since 2023, began his career at the Fred Astaire sister studio in Southbury, CT, after moving to the United States from Ukraine. Just last year, he joined the Madison team and has quickly made an impact on the community with his dedication to teaching advanced students. Denys received the 3rd Place Top Advanced Teaching Specialist Award, a prestigious honor based on the total number of enrollments for advanced-level students. His hard work, passion, and commitment to his students have made him a standout within the region.
In addition to Denys’s individual success, the Fred Astaire Dance Studios Madison location was honored with the Most Improved Studio Award. This recognition holds special meaning for the team, as the Madison studio opened its doors just over a year ago. The award reflects the dedication, hard work, and relentless pursuit of excellence that the team has displayed in making the Madison location a thriving hub of dance education.
