Friends of Hammonasset Hold Plant and Shrub Sale

Madison, Branford, North Branford, Guilford, and East Haven community members are invited to check out the plant and shrub sale.

The Friends of Hammonasset will hold their 16th annual Plant and Shrub Sale at Hammonasset Beach State Park now until June 18th, or when sold out. The sale includes a large variety of premium hanging baskets, perennials, shrubs at very competitive prices and weather permitting, 4” annuals and flats of bedding plants and vegetables. This year’s proceeds will be committed to fund exhibits and furnishings for the new nature center constructed at Meigs Point near the present facility. The location of the sale will be .3 miles east of the main entrance to Hammonasset Beach State Park on Rte 1. For additional information go to hammonasset.org or call 203- 245- 9192.
The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Meigs Point Nature Center at Hammonasset Beach State Park is Thursday May 26 at 11:30 am.
