Holiday Toys Being Collected For Needy Kids By Madison Police

The collected toys will first be distributed to Madison families in need the week before Christmas. Remaining toys go to hospital.

MADISON, CT - The Madison Police Department is again collecting new, unwrapped toys for the holiday season. Toys can be dropped off at the police department anytime 24/7 thru the entire month of December .

The collected toys will first be distributed to Madison families in need the week before Christmas. The remaining toys will be transported to the Yale New Haven Children's Hospital to benefit the Toy Closet Program.


The Toy Closet Program was established by WTNH News Anchor Ann Nyberg to benefit children receiving care at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. The Toy Closet provides the patient and/or their siblings with joy and comfort during their recovery at the hospital.
