'Feeds 80 Seniors A Day During Pandemic': Madison Local Hero

MADISON, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Reason for recognition: Chef Kevin Wolfe has prepared Meals on Wheels for 80 Madison seniors a day during the entire pandemic. These meals are a lifeline for the seniors, and he takes such great pride in providing them with a nutritious and well-thought-out menu.

One thing to know: Chef Kevin is a rock star in the kitchen and has been told numerous times by seniors that he has saved their lives by making them interested in eating again and helping them stay healthy and in their homes.
