Learn About The Women & Family Life Center With State Reps.
State Reps. Robin Comey and John-Michael Parker are hosting a virtual discussion on resources available to families in need Thursday night.
MADISON, CT — Two state representatives and staff from the Women and Family Life Center are holding a virtual discussion on resources available to families in need — and the public is invited to join them.
State Reps. John-Michael Parker (D-Durham/Madison) and Robin Comey (D-Branford) will host the forum, which begins at 7 p.m. Thursday. It will be available via Zoom and Facebook live.
The conversation will be about "available programs on the Shoreline that provide support to women and families during life changing events and transitional times of crisis," according to a news release from the Connecticut General Assembly House Democrats.

Staff from the Women and Family Life Center — a nonprofit in Guilford that helps women and families in crisis — will join Parker and Comey to discuss the resources available and how families in need can access them.
Panelists from the Women and Family Life Center include Executive Director Jennifer Wenderoth-Holster, Referral Navigator Destiny Stackhouse and Referral Navigator Melanie Meyers.
