Look For The Good Project Coming To Madison, Guilford

Submit your "glimmer of good."

The Look For The Good Project is an initiative started by Anne Kubitsky of Old Lyme, CT to help people focus on "the underlying good in life."

According to the project's Facebook page: "By asking the question, “What are YOU grateful for?” she invited the community at large to share a “glimmer of gladness” on a postcard and mail it back to her. Since the project’s 2011 inception, she has received thousands of heartfelt messages from all over the world... and continues to receive them on a daily basis. But THE LOOK FOR THE GOOD PROJECT isn’t just about gratitude. It’s about opening up to a lifestyle that loves you back."

The project has several events coming up, in Madison and Guilford, according to the website, including the kick-off event at Hammonasset Beach State Park at 10 a.m. on June 29th.

Prior to that, there will be a book signing at R. J. Julia on June 20. On July 6th there will be an opening reception for an exhibit at the Mercy Center in Madison, and a program for teens on July 11th at the Guilford library.
