Madison Announces Business Grant Program
Madison businesses can get up to $2,500 for storefront improvements.

MADISON, CT — Madison launched a new grant program to help local businesses improve storefronts and accessibility.
The grant program is funded through a portion of the town's American Rescue Plan Act funds and will give up to $2,500 for reimbursement.
“As we continue to focus on a strong recovery from the impacts of the pandemic, these grants show that we are committed to the businesses and nonprofits here in Madison," First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons said in a statement. “They are important drivers of vitality in our town and these investments will foster visible improvements throughout the community that everyone can enjoy.”

Grants can be used for minor improvement costs including: facade repairs, signage, awnings and canopies, exterior lighting, handicap accessibility and facade landscaping.
