Madison Beachgoers To Be Warned About Sun Danger At Surf Club
The Town of Madison is having a SOLaware™ Display unit installed at the Surf Club in June to alert beachgoers about direct sunlight.

MADISON, CT - Those worried about getting too much sun will be getting a little assist this summer from the town of Madison.
On the town’s Facebook page, is the following note:
“The Town of Madison is having a SOLaware™ Display unit installed at the Surf Club in June to alert beachgoers about how direct sunlight could impact them at that moment.

“Based on real-time analysis being gathered by sensors on the device, the clock will warn of potential skin and eye damage. The display automatically adjusts its time display and UV index indicator as it detects increases or decreases in risk.
