Madison Board Seeks to Approve Contract for Old Academy School Site

MADISON--The Madison Board of Selectmen is looking for approval on an initial contract with Centerbrook Architects.

At the April 11 BOS meeting, the board presented the contract with the firm, which will create a plan for the old Academy School building, The Madison Source reports.

Currently the plan is to turn the old school building into a cultural arts center, The Source reports.

The town is reviewing and approving the project in small phases, with the final cost of renovating the building still unknown, according to The Source.
