Let Animal Control explain:

This past Friday I was dispatched to a home in the West Wharf area for a report of a stray cat hanging around meowing for several days.

“Upon arrival I found a cat in fairly good condition but he gobbled up 2 cans of food and there was something about him, maybe familiar?

“Although cats are considered free roaming animals and I don’t normally pick them up unless sick or injured this one struck me and I decided to crate him while I checked into him a bit further. I looked back a years worth of posts as I normally do and didn’t see him but I decided to keep scrolling, I just had a feeling...

“Lo and behold there he was! He had gone missing in 2016!!! Confirmed by a micro chip. Here he is with his elated owner ( who still had all his toys and bed, hoping he might be found one day!)

“I imagine some people in this area must have been helping him along over the years, if so Thank You!!!

“And a big Thank You to Jennifer Rooney, the resident who called in about him!!!
