Madison Considers Spending $100.6M For Town And Schools In 2025-26
The Board of Selectmen and Board of Education will present their recommended budgets to the Board of Finance on Tuesday.

MADISON, CT — On Tuesday, February 25 at 7 p.m. at Town Campus and on Zoom, the Board of Selectmen and Board of Education will present their recommended budgets to the Board of Finance as required by the Town Charter.
The recommended Board of Selectmen Town budget is $35.4 million, representing a 4% increase from the previous year.

The recommended Board of Education [budget] of $65.2 million represents a 2.5% increase from the previous year.

In addition to the Budget Public Hearing scheduled for February 25, other important dates for public participation include:

- A public hearing to discuss the recommended budget on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 7 p.m. at Town Campus and on Zoom
- A proposed Budget Referendum date of Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
