A Madison couple’s lives are forever changed after husband and father of two, Kyle Connors, 35, was diagnosed ALS, according to WTNH News 8. Kyle learned of his diagnosis over a year ago, and he and his wife, Kati, have shown their determination to fight for the best lives they can for as long as they have together.
“What would you do if your hero was in trouble? You would throw on your cape and help them fight!” a website dedicated to Kyle says. “For all those suffering with terminal illness, we must become their superheros and help build their strength.”

Connors’ wife Kati, and a squad of supporters, including family, friends and more, have come together to organize events that benefit ALS research, as well as to help the Connors family pay medical bills and make proper home adaptations so that Kyle is able to get around in his own home, WTNH News 8.
Kati is the owner of Aquinnah Jewelry and creates custom apparel sold for $80 a piece and donates 20 percent of the proceeds to Kyle’s website, MyHeroFund.org, according to Kyle’s website. Some of the custom jewelry features messages dedicated to the Connors’ fight against ALS, including some that say “FU, ALS” with an optional rhinestone on the side.
