Madison Fills Dispatcher Jobs After Ex Workers Caught “Napping”
The Madison Board of Selectmen recently approved the hiring of two new police dispatchers to help fill the void left by job openings.

MADISON, CT - The Board of Selectmen recently approved hiring two new police dispatchers to help fill the void created in the department when the three previous dispatchers were caught sleeping on the job.
The department was short three civilian dispatchers because the three who held the jobs previously either resigned or were fired after an investigation showed all three had, literally, been sleeping on the job.
The selectmen hired, by unanimous vote, Kimberly Coppola and Ethan Kistler to fill two of the vacancies in the department.
