Madison Lions 51st Annual Flea Market on the Green

Community, Flea Market, ABC Bike Sale, Food, Fun and Family!

The Madison Lions Club will hold its 51st annual Flea Market on the Madison Green on June 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in conjunction with the ABC Bike Sale for a double whammy of fun and great deals. The event is free, and members encourage residents to spend the day looking for unique finds and taking a load off for food and beverages that will be available.

Madison Lion Dick Borner said as the event approaches its fifth decade, the importance of the funds raised for the organization’s multi-focused efforts is more critical than ever. “One of the largest events of its kind on the shoreline combines a flea market with many vendors offering some great deals. Lions are pleased to be joined by the famous ABC Bike Sale. Food and beverages are available during the day, and admission is free,” Borner said.

According to Borner, in keeping with the organization’s mission of service to others, all proceeds from this event will be used to support the Madison Lions Foundation and its efforts in contributing to numerous charities and nonprofits. “Proceeds from this event will be used to support the Madison Lions Club in contributing to local and state charities, with a focus on vision, youth, and community projects. We are also looking for new members to help us continue our service to the community,
Borner said.
