MADISON, Conn. – Madison Newcomers Club is calling on local business owners to advertise in and provide swag for Welcome Bags, which are hand-delivered by the nonprofit’s Board members to the newest members of the Madison community. Flyers, discounts, key chains, pens, and magnets are examples of materials provided in the past.

Businesses who participate in the Madison Newcomers Club Welcome Bags program have the opportunity to connect with new neighbors and introduce the community to their products and services they may need as they settle into their new homes. Residents who receive the bags appreciate recommendations and support as they acclimate to the shoreline.

Last year, more than 150 Welcome Bags were filled with swag from over 20 local businesses. If you are interested in contributing to the program, please contact Christina Morrin at madison.newcomers.welcome@gmail.com.
