Madison Police Department Thankful For Successful Food Drive

MADISON, CT — The Madison Police Department recently held its annual food drive to help local families in need, and officials said this year's effort was successful.

In a post on Facebook, the department thanked the community for its support.

"Because of your generosity, we were able to collect a large amount of food that will directly help local families in need," officials wrote.

"Our residents, businesses, and community partners continue to show what makes Madison such a special place. Your kindness and willingness to help others truly makes a difference.

"Thank you again for your continued support and for helping us strengthen our community one act of generosity at a time."
