AAA Honors Madison Police Officer as Traffic Safety Hero

AAA Southern New England – CT recently honored the Madison Police Department with a Silver Award for the department’s outstanding traffic safety programs that include an active teen alcohol and drug education program; a bicycle safety awareness program; and DUI enforcement activities, among other initiatives. In addition, AAA honored Officer Brian Phillips as the department-nominated Traffic Safety Hero. 

At AAA’s Fourth Annual Community Traffic Safety Awards lunch at Marisa’s, Trumbull, Public Affairs Manager Fran Mayko, left,  presented Officer Brian Phillips with the Traffic Safety Award which recognized his aggressive impaired driving efforts over the last two years.
