Madison Publishes List Of Resources During Federal Government Shutdown
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program is among the government programs impacted by the shutdown.
MADISON, CT — Madison officials have published a webpage with a list of resources for those in need, as the federal government shutdown continues.
"If you or someone you know is a Madison resident in need during this time, please contact Madison Youth and Family Services at (203) 245-5645 or Madison Senior Services at (203) 245-5627," officials wrote.
The webpage, which can be found here, lists area food pantries and food kitchens, among other resources, because the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program is among the government programs impacted by the shutdown.
