Madison Resident Shares Feelings on Trump’s Immigration Policy

A Madison resident has made his or her feelings loud and clear on how they feel about President Trump's immigration policies.

MADISON, CT - A Madison resident has made his or her feelings known about President Donald Trump’s immigration policies known by posting a large sign on a wall in front of their home along the busy Boston Post Road.

The sign says: “Donald Trump is a kidnapper - including babies.”

The good news for whoever posted the sign is that Trump late Wednesday signed an executive order on the controversial policy which had taken about 2,000 children from their parents at the Mexican/United States border over the past few days.

In a sudden reversal, Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order designed to keep together immigrant families who have been detained at the U.S.-Mexico border, while also retaining his administration’s so-called “zero-tolerance” immigration policy.

“I didn’t like the sight or the feeling of families being separated,” Trump said from the Oval Office. “At the same time, we are keeping a very powerful border, but continue be zero tolerance.”
