Madison Town Hall Closed Today (Thursday) Due to Storm
First Selectman Tom Banisch said many town roads are impassable and power is still out to many in Madison; so he is closing town operations.

MADISON, CT - First Selectman is telling non-essential Madison town employees not to report to work today, Thursday March 8th.
Banisch said: "After driving around with Police Chief (Jack) Drumm after midnight and conferring with John Iennaco, director of public works, I've concluded that all non-essential employees should NOT report to work today.
"Many roads are impassable and power is out to 40 percent of Eversource customers at 3 a.m. I believe that number will increase later this morning as they will have to shut power off to deal with downed lines."
