Madison's 86th Follies Stage Show Returns In August

This year's theme for the 86th Follies stage show is "High Tide."

MADISON, CT – The 86th Follies stage show at the Madison Beach Club used the heat wave as its inspiration for the new show.

This year’s theme for the 86th Follies stage show is “High Tide.”

The stage show is open to the public Friday, Aug. 4, at 7:30 p.m.

“This year's theme evokes that feeling of taking the plunge and cooling off on the beautiful Madison beaches,” Matthew Harrison said, Follies director. “So come and be ready to hear tunes that scream Summer – “Soak Up The Sun,” “Sea Cruise,” “Kokomo,” “Summer of ‘69” and much more.”

Harrison said The Follies cast includes members from age 14 and up.

Admission costs $10 for children 12 and under and $25 for adults.

Tickets for the Aug. 4 performance can be purchased at the Madison Beach Club front desk, 128 Island Ave., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Come soak up the fun,” Harrison said.
