Madison's Olympian Zachary Donohue First Hit The Ice 20 Years Ago
Donohue and ice dance partner Madison Hubbell are already 3-time world medalists and 3-time US Ice Dance Champs, and 2018 Olympians.
MADISON, CT — Madison's Zachary Donohue, now 31, first hit the ice at age 11. This week, the celebrated ice dancer with his partner Madison Hubbell are competing in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
On Friday, the ice dance team duo "set a new personal best," as they took the rhythm dance portion of the team event in Beijing, NBC Sports reported.
The Hubbell/Donohue duo have to date won two silvers and a bronze at the World Championships; three national titles; and an appearance at the PyeongChang 2018 Games, where they placed fourth – just 4.90 points from a bronze medal, according to NBC Sports.

"After more than a decade as partners, ice dancers Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue announced that the 2021-22 season would be their last," NBC reported last month.

The duo arrived in Beijing late last month and reportedly began learning "key phrases" in Mandarin Chinese.
