Madison's Top Elected Official Seeks Reelection
Whoever is elected in November will serve a 4-year term.

MADISON, CT — Madison First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons, a Democrat, announced that she will seek a third-term of office, Hearst Connecticut reported.
If she wins, the term would be for four years. In the Hearst CT article, Lyons cited accomplishments including: approval to turn Academy School into a community center, major school building upgrades, and more.
Madison CT Democrats on social media wrote: "Congratulations to First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons for announcing her re-election campaign tonight!"
